DESCRIPTION:Positive Solutions for Families Trainer of Facilitators\n\n\n\n\nOctober 8th and 9th\, 2025\n8:30am – 3:30pm each day\nWHERE:  Fish House at Altoona City Park\, 418 9th St W\, Altoona\, WI 54720\nCOST: $105\nREGISTER HERE!\nThis 2-day event will train facilitators to use the NCPMI Positive Solutions for Families content.  Facilitators will use the materials with families of preschools to promote understanding and use positive behavior support that enhances social and emotional competence in their children. \nThe Positive Solutions for Families content is designed to be delivered in 7 weeks of face to face parent networking sessions. The content aligns with Wisconsin’s Pyramid Model training for teachers. \nThis workshop session is for anyone who has: \n\nresponsibility for providing parent education to families of preschoolers and\navailability to facilitate parent groups.\n\nParticipants who attend this training will be able to train parents in evidence-based practices to promote social-emotional development and therefore decrease challenging behavior.   Participants who complete the training can access reduced-cost materials needed to facilitate PSF groups with families. \n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please reach out to the facilitators of this training: Tina Ruckdashel truckdashel@wiaimh.org and Emily Ewoldt eewoldt@wiaimh.org

SUMMARY:EC CCR IEP Cohort 2025-26
DESCRIPTION:Participants will dig deep into each step of the IEP process and apply the information learned to their own IEPs. Participants are encouraged to have a general overview of the CCR IEP process. \nEach session: 3:30-4:30 PM (attendees must be able to attend ALL six sessions)\nOctober 8\, October 15\, October 22\, November 5\, November 12\, November 19\nREGISTER HERE\nTopics will include: \n\nBest practices in developing IEPs for children ages 3-6\nDeveloping Early Childhood IEPs designed to improve access\, engagement\, and progress for young learners\nUse of the WI Model Early Learning Standards and age anchoring tools in IEP development\nIntegrating early childhood indicators into the IEP process\n\nThere is no-cost to attend. \nAudience: This is a statewide event and is open to all Early childhood special education teachers\, related service providers\, and administrators. \nImportant Notes: \n\nThis cohort will be capped at 50 registrants to allow for rich discussion and interaction.\nRegistration deadline: October 1 2025 (or when at the 50 registrant capacity)\nRegistrants will receive login information and materials prior to the workshop.\nThis is a repeat of the 2024-2025 series.\n\nPresenter: Michelle Ogorek\nWI Statewide Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator\nDepartment of Public Instruction IDEA Discretionary Grant \n\nThe Early Learning Technical Assistance & Implementation grant CFDA# 84.173A acknowledges the support of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (WDPI) in the development of this federally-funded grant project.
