This training is a full 15 hour training on the the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) and how to apply them within any early learning classroom setting. Training activities will emphasize:

  • How to plan for the "whole child" with the WMELS as a guide
  • How to plan developmentally appropriate activities to carry out learning goals supported by the WMELS
  • How to assess childrens' growth and development using both informal and formal assessment strategies
