This training will include an overview of the contents and design of the Wisconsin Model
Early Learning Standards (WMELS) and how to apply them within any early learning
classroom setting. Training activities will emphasize:

• How to plan for the "whole child" with the WMELS as a guide
  
• How to plan developmentally appropriate activities to carry out learning goals supported by the WMELS
  
• How to assess childrens' growth and development using both informal and formal assessment strategies
