In order for a curriculum and/or assessment alignment to be included on this page the curriculum/assessment publisher must provide documentation as to how the materials are research based, including child development theory/research findings, and also must provide a viewable alignment document of the specific curriculum/assessment with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. Once received from the publisher, the content curriculum/assessment alignment document is reviewed by the WMELS Steering Committee to determine if the alignment meets the intent of the WMELS philosophy prior to being included on the website. All content alignment documentation that is added to this site is available at no cost to the early care and education workforce to download for review. Wisconsin does not endorse a single set curriculum or assessment tool. Publishers should submit documentation for review to Katherine McGurk at: kathy.mcgurk@wisconsin.gov.
