Description
This three-module course is designed to increase knowledge of
the process of ongoing assessment and provide opportunities
to practice various assessment strategies. Each module contains
an overview that identifies readings, handouts, activities,
and instructor notes. Some handouts are provided in the form
of links to the document on the web. Other word document handouts
are included in the Overviews. There is a PowerPoint presentation
that supports each module. Readings for the course are primarily
from the following two texts:
- Grisham-Brown, J., Hemmeter, M.L., & Pretti-Frontczak,
K. (2005). Blended Practices for Teaching Young Children
in Inclusive Settings. Baltimore: Paul Brookes Publishing
Company.
- McAfee, O. & Leong, D. (2002). Assessing and Guiding
